Senior Mobile Core Engineer
**What's The Role** You will propose the Mobile Platforms Strategy for the Region, estimating the activities and CAPEX required to implement the commercial strategy for mobile services. You will act as the design authority for the Company’s mobile platforms. The objective is to design the most cost-effective solutions to meet business demands in terms of capacity and coverage. This role involves gathering requirements from every local market, helping them assess the competitive position, and setting the right priorities aligned with the business strategy, improving NPS, and reducing the cost to serve. **What You'll Do** + Propose the Mobile Platforms Strategy and Roadmap, delivering CAPEX estimates, and maintaining the yearly CAPEX plan across LLA for the mobile platforms under the scope defined by your supervisor. + Support Mobile Platforms lifecycle management by providing anticipated plans for end-of-support and end-of-life systems decommissioning, along with the corresponding replacement alternatives. + Provide 3rd level support to Operations and quality assurance activities through Tier3 SPOC. + Manage baseline configuration by defining the default system parameters for the mobile platforms under the scope defined by your supervisor. **What Do You Need** + Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a comparable technical engineering discipline. + Ideally educated to degree level, or with alternative relevant industry experience, with 5+ years of experience in planning, engineering, or operations within either an operator or a vendor. + Demonstrable experience working in a large telco in a complex operational environment and working in cross-functional teams. + Proven experience engaging effectively with executive and senior-level management. + Experience and appreciation of working in a customer-focused environment are essential. + Proficiency in English, both written and spoken. **Who We Are** We are the leading telecommunications company, connecting more than 40 markets in Latin America and the Caribbean with our video, broadband internet, telephony, and mobile services under the consumer brands, Flow, Liberty, Más Móvil, BTC, and Cabletica.
