Short Description: Senior Mobile Developer
Location: Melbourne
Salary Range : AUD 90,243 - 98,861 (Annual Gross)
Roles and Responsibilities:Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologiesDesign and develop reusable objects based on company security standards and best practicesBuild detail level designs for new functionality as well as migration of legacy technology to go forward technologySolid understanding of the full mobile development life cycleExperience working with remote data via REST and JSONExperience with third-party libraries and APIsStrong Object-Oriented Programming knowledge, familiarity with design patternsAbility to write clear, modular and optimised codeGood understanding of creating UI components using layouts and using codeHands on experience in push notifications, local databasesUnit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliabilityWork on bug fixing and improving application performanceExperience working on exception and crash logging using different analytics toolsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong troubleshooting skillsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver new featuresExperience Agile methodology, any tools used for Agile (Jira/Azure DevOps, etc), CI/CD pipelinesUnderstanding of Code versioning, Code reviews, app release process (app signing, generating apk, releasing to store)Strong communication and logical reasoning skillsExperience in leading a team of Mobile based application developers through the full life cycle of complex projectsCollaborate and communicate with product owner and developers in agile processes to provide technical feasibility, specifications, and estimates.Generate technical documentation to communicate architectural and design options, and educate development teams and business users.Skill / Competencies / Experience:
ESSENTIAL5 years of application development experience in iOS using Objective C, Swift, Swift UI, XamarinTertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.PREFERREDStrong communication skills, both written and verbal.Highly motivated self-driven with a positive attitude.ADDITIONAL Excellent customer facing skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
