SWBC is seeking a talented individual to help provide compliance support and assistance in all aspects of the mortgage business to include internal operations, production, sales and marketing/advertising ensuring compliance with consumer protection rules and regulations related to marketing, advertising, loan disclosures, and loan level compliance. Help promote the availability of mortgage credit to Spanish speaking consumers with Limited English Proficiency (LEP), working closely with Marketing, and Operations to support internal operations.

Essential duties include the following:
Supports internal customers to ensure compliance with state or federal lending laws and company policy by answering compliance policy and procedure questions.Provides administrative support to include reviewing and preparing reports and correspondence.Assists with the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures by researching and monitoring changes in regulatory requirements.Creates, revises, and maintains federal and state lending disclosures.Maintains state and federal lending reference manuals, matrices and history files.Assists in the creation of loan disclosure compliance documents and procedures.Reviews and monitors marketing, including printed collateral, online, social media, radio, TV and video broadcasts, and other digital advertising for content and compliance with applicable rules, regulations and state laws, including but not limited to ECOA and Fair Lending, MAPS (Reg N), RESPA (Reg X), TILA (Reg Z), and guidance from the FTC and FFIEC for social media, advertising and digital marketing.Assists with the marketing review for preparation of audits and examinations by state or federal regulators or agencies.Collaborates with marketing, and business systems to develop and support a Compliance Management System specific to LEP.Reports on compliance developments related to LEP issues at the state and federal level.Reviews scripts, text templates, automated email communication of loan process milestones, and other loan-level customer communication to ensure the Spanish translation accurately reflects the English content of similar communication.Develops compliance audits specific to marketing reviews for LEP consumers.Support response complaints from LEP consumers, including review, research, and communication with the consumers, provide follow up communication to employees and management.Other responsibilities and duties as requested or assigned.Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalency.Minimum three - five (3-5) years of mortgage compliance, or related experience.Working knowledge of mortgage related lending rules and regulations (state and federal).Excellent written and verbal communication.Excellent presentation skills both in person and via webinar to communicate policy, procedures, best practicesExcellent organization and interpersonal skills.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office productsAble to quickly learn specialized software.Able to focus on details, demonstrate accuracy, and maintain a high level of confidentiality.Able to type at least 40 wpm accurately.Able to sit for long periods of time compiling data, entering and updating information, and other sedentary duties.Culturally appropriate verbal communication skills demonstrating fluency in Spanish preferred.Team player with ability to work independently, work remotely, and complete tasks on time with minimal supervision.Strong work ethic and hands-on approach.SWBC offers*:
