Senior Motion Designer

What you'll do Docusign is in need of a Senior Motion Designer to drive motion and animation within our marketing touchpoints. In this position, you’ll create extraordinary animations to drive rich narrative elements. You’ll work closely with the Brand & Creative team, writers, and producers to deliver quality work that drives business results. You’ll be hands-on in crafting work that delivers across integrated touchpoints, from campaigns, email, web, display, product UI, and more. As a Senior Motion Designer, you'll be responsible for using a variety of apps, including Figma, Illustrator, After Effects and Frame.io, using a multitude of hands-on skills. This position is an individual contributor reporting to the Creative Director. Responsibility Concept storyline and visuals to accompany scripts Design storyboards and animation tests independently for proof of concept Turn business use cases and value props into visuals that drive product and feature education amongst our prospect and customer base Animate a variety of styles and techniques in 2D Build a library of UI animations for use across multiple touchpoints Maintain and apply knowledge of brand identity systems while also exploring opportunities to evolve these systems to support partners as needed Help prepare pitches to internal clients and collaborators Manage time well to meet deadlines and delivery schedule Communicate project status updates to project managers, producers and creative directors Navigate ambiguity to drive the design cycle and multitask in a fast-paced environment Job Designation Remote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time. Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. What you bring Basic 12+ years of experience specializing in animation and design Experience with After Effects, Premier, Illustrator and Figma Portfolio and/or reel featuring brand work, product UI, illustration and icon animation Preferred Experience with Javascript and HTML5 animation bringing your life to work through code In-House or Agency experience with robust portfolio Experience with prototyping tools Internal and external agency experience Experience working in a complex and global environment Strong presentation skills, with the ability to present to stakeholders regularly Experience with Blender and/or other 3D animation tools Wage Transparency Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations: California: $171,500.00 - $277,025.00 base salary Illinois and Colorado: $164,800.00 - $232,750.00 base salary Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $164,800.00 - $242,225.00 base salary Washington DC: $171,500.00 - $242,225.00 base salary This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
