Infosys Public Services is seeking a Senior Mulesoft Developer to join our team and help grow our Salesforce practice.
Position Description (scope of work or brief narrative):
We are seeking a Senior MuleSoft Developer to join our team and lead the development and integration of complex MuleSoft-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, building, and managing API and integration using the MuleSoft platform, focusing on delivering high-performance, scalable solutions.
The Senior MuleSoft Developer will perform the following responsibilities:Design, develop, and implement API and integration solutions using the MuleSoft platform to meet business requirements.Experienced in using the MuleSoft platform and APIs, including API Manager, Runtime Manager, and Connectors to develop robust solutions. Ensure the quality and performance of the delivered solutions by implementing best practices and standards for API development and integration.Lead the integration of various systems, including databases, SaaS applications, and legacy systems, using MuleSoft.Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and developers to understand and define integration requirements.Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize integration solutions for scalability and reliability.Create and maintain technical and functional documentation for developed solutions and processes.Stay current with MuleSoft platform updates and industry best practices in API management and integration technologies.Continuously seek opportunities to improve existing solutions and processes.Lead and mentor junior developers to improve team skill levels.
Required years of experience, training, technical skills, and other requirements for job performance:
Basic Qualifications:Over four years of IT experience, with at least three years of demonstrated expertise in MuleSoft APIs and solution development.Proven hands-on experience in developing robust and custom solutions using the MuleSoft platform.Strong knowledge of API-let connectivity, and RESTful API design.Experience with Mule 4. x, including experience with DataWeave transformation, API policies, and connectors is desirable.Proficiency with CloudHub, API Manager, and Runtime Fabric.Strong experience integrating various systems like databases, SaaS applications (Salesforce, Workday), and legacy systems.Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.Capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:Relevant MuleSoft certifications. Public Sector experience.Experience in deployment tools such as Copado, Anypoint Runtime(RTF), and Jenkins, ensuring efficient and reliable deployment processes.
Educational Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive, relevant work experience instead of every year of education.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face-to-face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
