What is the role about?
The Development Data Platform (DDP) is a key component of our Research IT landscape, serving as the central hub for data storage and access for downstream applications in critical areas such as Regulatory, Clinical, Quality, Safety, and more.
We are looking for an experienced Mulesoft Developer to help maintain and expand the platform, ensuring its stability and scalability. You will work on complex integration projects, collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to design and implement seamless data flows between our data platform and consumer applications.
What you are going to do?
Lead the design and development of integrations between the Data Platform and downstream consumer applications using Mulesoft Anypoint.Implement API-led connectivity strategies to create reusable, scalable, and well-documented APIs and services for internal and external consumers.Leverage Mulesoft Exchange to manage and reuse existing API assets, ensuring that integrations are aligned with enterprise standards and best practices.Design and implement end-to-end API lifecycles, including creation, deployment, versioning, and governance, ensuring robust and secure API management.Architect and implement cloud-based integration solutions, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security across applications.Drive the adoption of best practices for cloud-based data integration, ensuring data quality and governance are maintained throughout the integration lifecycle.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, promoting best practices in API development, cloud integration, and Mulesoft tools.Collaborate closely with business teams (Regulatory, Clinical, IT, etc.) to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure the seamless integration of data across applications.Conduct code reviews, manage release processes, and ensure best practices are adhered to throughout the software development lifecycle.Troubleshoot complex integration issues in cloud environments and provide solutions to optimize performance, stability, and scalability.What skills you shall have?
Advanced expertise in Mulesoft Anypoint Platform, including hands-on experience with Mulesoft Exchange, API Manager, Design Center, and Anypoint Studio.Proven experience implementing API-led connectivity solutions, designing reusable APIs, and managing the API lifecycle (design, versioning, deployment, and governance) in a cloud environment.Expertise in integrating cloud-based applications and services across platforms like AWS or Azure, with a focus on scalability, high availability, and security.Strong understanding of cloud-native integration patterns, including event-driven architectures and microservices-based integrations.Experience with Mulesoft Anypoint Security best practices for securing APIs, including OAuth, API policies, and security configurations in the cloud.Proficiency in version control tools such as GitHub, and project management tools like Jira.Strong experience in agile delivery methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and CI/CD processes in cloud-based environments.Ability to mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership on large-scale cloud integration projects.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders from business and IT teams.What we offer?
