The Senior Artist drives commercial success by infusing Artistry into all areas of the Brand by providing industry knowledge, storytelling, and technique angles during the launch planning processes and facilitating of large-scale special events. Serve as a Makeup Artist and Brand Ambassador internally and externally, driving with influence and on-trend makeup execution for a diverse, inclusive population with a focus on hero strategy, sub-category strategy and NPL (50%) + Support Marketing and Communications (Talent, Influencer & VIP) to execute “on-demand” makeup appointments regionally and globally as requested + Deliver an unparalleled experience and exceptional makeup artistry at industry events, fashion shows, on set and at brand equity events + Maintain a working book, resume and client list for use as a booking tool for industry opportunities + Create compelling, modern and on-Brand content & share across relevant platforms (social media & websites) + Interface with all levels of media in partnership with PR/Influencer Comms. Provide press-worthy storytelling, tips and press angles on stage, 1:1 and in written word as requested + Demonstrate speed and agility in the ability to adjust makeup skills and adapt to a wide variety of environments and audience + Adapt to new technology capabilities and consistently evolve makeup skills to reflect current trends + Collaborate with corporate teams to provide artistry expertise and content for product launches, trends, and competitive insights, enhancing consumer engagement, sales, and loyalty. + Partner with Product Development to suggest/test new product offerings for the Brand portfolio that are ground-breaking, diverse and inclusive Inspire Retention & Acceleration in the Field 25% + Support NA Education and Artistry to develop programming, share feedback and measure the continual improvement of our POS & Training population at through Mentoring, Skill Certification, Artistry Training and Eventing + Partner with Education Leads to host Advanced workshops for regional and POS Artists Serve as Lead Artist for Retail & Pro Events 25% + Conduct consumer-facing Masterclasses and PA style events in MAC FSS and Retail Partners + Partner with Field & Retail teams to monitor bookings, event themes and KPIs to ensure success + Host Live-Selling on RP IG Lives and MAC owned social channels + Host/Cohost Pro-to-Pro Events & Masterclasses with industry Artists/Influencers + Partner with Artist Relations on outreach to Makeup Academies & Local Unions to support professional ongoing education and build MAC Artist Community Financial Accountabilities + Ensure the timely submission and accuracy of credit card statements, expense reports + Review and track expenditures in accordance with departmental/regional budgets **Qualifications** + Expert in diverse makeup styles with precision and speed. Requires backstage, on-set, and private client experience. Strong teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential. + Experience: A minimum 5 years of makeup experience. M·A·C Training experience is a plus. College degree required. + Analytical Skills: Ability to quickly adapt to partner and client needs. Proficient in administrative tasks, including Microsoft Office, content creation, and editing. Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with project leads, media, and event organizers. + Creativity: Possess high level of skill in developing creative, effective, and inspiring makeup demonstration, content & presentations + Tech: As technology and social communication advance rapidly, candidate must be an adopter of technology and image/video capture & editing applications + Working Conditions: Working conditions vary by assignment. Industry opportunities may be in studio, hotel, private residences or on location where climate varies. In office, home office, conference room and retail locations are also locations where activities occur. On set opportunities can be 12-hour days. Schedule flexibility and availability is required. Must be able to work nights and/or weekends as necessary. This position requires frequent travel by air or car. Handling of items weighing up-to 40lbs may be required at times + Travel time: 40 - 50% + Licenses or Certifications: Makeup/Art Certification **Pay Range:** The anticipated base salary range for this position is **$73,150.00** **to** **$109,200.00** **.** Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
