Senior Naval Service Engineer - Gas Turbine Controls / CanMan
Multiple Customer Sites – US Wide


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Naval Services Engineer, providing in-service support to the US Navy, Coast Guard, and Naval shipyards. You will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, repairs and diagnostics on equipment with the aim of minimizing equipment downtime to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Accountabilities:

Perform routine maintenance, repair and commissioning work on equipment in accordance with the technical documentationConduct tests and inspections to Quality Assurance/Quality Control standardsCreate reports documenting the work performedExtensive travel, up to 70% (both domestic and international) is required, sometimes at short notice - often required to spend multiple weeks away from home.Establishing and maintaining close liaison with all relevant sections of customer organization, and Rolls-Royce management.Reviewing engineering changes with regard to their effect on the product in the field, including maintenance manual updates and coordinate communication plans with customers on impact to their operations.Ability to meet certain requirements for visual acuity, as outlined in the Authorized Field Service Representative program, for purposes of performing essential job functions, such as visual inspection of hardware for serviceability.

Basic Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of gas turbine maintenance, repair and/or overhaul experience, ORAssociate Degree with 3+ years gas turbine maintenance, repair and/or overhaul experienceKnowledge of Waterjets, Controllable Pitch Propellers, Tunnel Thrusters, and CanMan SystemAbility to read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals in order to determine methods and sequences of assemblyComputer experience with Microsoft Office Suite:  Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OutlookIn order to be considered for this position, you must be eligible to receive and maintain a US DoD Security Clearance which requires US CitizenshipHold a valid driver’s license
