Currently, **ManTech** is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Senior Navy Model Based Systems Engineer** to join our team in **Washington, DC** . **Responsibilities include but are not limited to:** + Work will involve performing engineering analyses of customer mission and performance requirements to define UxV attributes in engineering terms. + Perform engineering studies leading to the allocation of UxV attributes to UxV systems in terms of design direction, performance, configuration, space and weight, and arrangement. Perform design and engineering studies to identify the degree of UxV systems integration required to meet the mission requirements. + Provide Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) of designs in the form of technical products such as drawings, conceptual and product engineering designs, calculations, schematics, reports, etc. + Ensure structures can withstand the stresses and pressures imposed by use and the environment. + Calculate stability, strength and rigidity and make sure the right materials are used for shipbuilding programs. **Minimum Qualifications:** + 10+ years professional experience + Master’s degree in engineering, operations research, or other sciences where the utilization of advanced math skills is required (e.g. business, mathematics, statistics, and probability) **Preferred Qualifications:** + 15 or more years of professional experience performing Model Based Systems Engineering + Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering principles. + Knowledge of the Systems Modeling Language (SysML) or Unified Modeling Language (UML) **Clearance Requirements:** + U.S. Citizenship + Interim Top-Secret clearance with eligibility for Top Secret ManTech International Corporation, as well as its subsidiaries proactively fulfills its role as an equal opportunity employer.
