The Senior Network Coordinator is accountable for the proper installation and maintenance of the ARH Voice, Data and Video Equipment; associated software for installation and maintenance of networking components of the above; and all associated peripherals.

Responsibilities

Assures that the installation of computer and telephone equipment adheres to the vendor specification and codes, and meets the interior design layout.

 

Coordinates the use, maintenance, and repair of the computer network equipment.

 

Coordinates the use, maintenance and installation of networking software of the computer equipment. In such, capable of troubleshooting network impairments and communicating

effective measures to IS Programming Staff, Network Support and other associated groups in the maintenance and implementation of Network Software.

 

Maintains and manages the appropriate schematics and records for that reporting location to assist in the planning of future expansion, moves and changes and in isolation problem situations.

 

Will be the focal point for that reporting location in assisting and training end users in the proper utilization of their networking equipment and their applications.

 

Assists in maintaining inventory of installed and replacement equipment, its location and record of scheduled maintenance. Updates to master database for that reporting location will be the accountability of the Sr. Network Coordinator to maintenance and secure.

 

Manage the traffic management of Voice and Data applications through the assistance of the Network Analyst and Network Monitoring.

 

Installation of all computers and associated software. Maintenance and support of ARH applications as necessary.

 

Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Must be available to travel as needed to other ARH locations and for ongoing training. (estimated to be 80% of the time).

Qualifications

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

 

Associate degree in Computer Science and four (4) years related experience, utilizing a real time communication system or

Minimum of five (5) years related experience.

Successful completion of courses in Computer hardware, Microsoft, and Data or Networking Communications.

Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel.


POSITION PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

Must possess the physical ability needed to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally; and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently; and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for light work.
