Job Summary

Under general supervision, designs, builds, implements, monitors, and maintains moderately complex to complex network systems that are global in scale. Works independently in an operational and design environment, exercising sound judgement and collaborating with cross-discipline workgroups. The ability to develop scalable network solutions that are deployable across the enterprise is required.

This is a 4:1/Hybrid Role

Key Responsibilities

Design, create, install, and configure current network server systems and repair server hardware.Monitor, maintain, support, and optimize all networked software and associated operating systemsUse knowledge of server operating systems to help design and install internal and external networks.Perform remedial maintenance of file servers and network devices including the restoration or hardware and software.Test and evaluate network systems to ensure stability, eliminate problems and make improvements.Perform troubleshooting to correct issues.Identify and recommend cost-effective technology solutions.Assist in comparing vendors and costs to plan large-scale system projects.Collaborate with IT Risk Management and Security to reduce business risk.

Requirements

5+ years relevant and progressive professional working experience with Cisco ACI, Citrix, VMware, Dell servers, and Microsoft technologies4 Year/ bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or the equivalent education/experience
