Join our team and start your journey today! We are seeking a skilled **Senior Network Engineer** to provide Tier II and Tier III technical operational support for the Global Copeland IT Enterprise. This role involves supporting and supervising our Global IT Enterprise infrastructure, including SD-WAN, Cloud, and Campus infrastructure services (LAN/Wireless). You will work under the general direction of the Network Operations Lead, both independently and in collaboration with various operation teams and our Managed Services Provider (MSP) team. This job is based in **Cluj-Napoca, Romania.** We provide a flexible working schedule with the option of **working hybrid** . **In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** • Provide technical mentorship and support for daily operations, change operations, and incident response. • Assist the NoC Lead in managing the Global Enterprise operations. • Collaborate with Service Management groups on managing changes, patches, and service turnup/disconnections. • Repair and resolve Cisco devices and circuits within the global SD-WAN (Viptela) environment. • Take the lead in resolving issues and improving end-to-end network connectivity and performance across all communication platforms (WLAN, LAN, SD-WAN, Firewall, IPSec links, VPNs). • Collaborate with the Security group to ensure compliance with Copeland Security policies. • Operate and configure network operational tools (e.g., Solarwinds, vManage, vAnalytics, ISE, DNAC, NetScout nGenious, and others to be identified). • Analyze data to deliver metrics related to network utilization, capacity, and performance. • Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support for Network services within the Copeland IT Enterprise. • Support critical incident responses. **For This Role You Will Need:** • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related technology/engineering field or equivalent experience. • Minimum of 6 years in a Network Engineering role with expertise in routing, switching, wireless, VPNs, and Firewall infrastructures. • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP). • Experience in large global network environments with distributed operations teams that can be demonstrated. • Familiarity with Managed Service Providers (MSP), Telecoms, and external vendors. • Superb communication and teamwork skills; • Sophisticated English proficiency. • Advanced experience with Microsoft 365 products including Visio and Project. • In-depth knowledge of troubleshooting network systems. **Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:** • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE). • Experience of working in a global matrix environment. • Solid grasp of Cloud networking specifically with Azure and AWS. • Detailed knowledge of Security technologies and their relations to Network communications. • Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewall deployments using Panorama management tool. • Knowledge of Cisco SDWAN Viptela and Meraki technologies. • Understanding of DNS, DHCP, VLANs, spanning tree protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF), and IP addressing strategies. **Our Commitment to Our People** Across the globe, we are united by a singular Purpose: Sustainability is no small ambition.
