The ITOps team deploys and maintains systems, hardware, software, and technology for all business units. **Job Overview** As a Senior NOC Engineer, you will play a critical role in monitoring, reacting to, and preventing service interruptions across complex cloud environments. Leveraging your extensive expertise in Azure and AWS, you will ensure the operational stability and scalability of cloud infrastructures. This role involves developing robust monitoring solutions, optimizing alert systems, and implementing automated tools to maintain operational efficiency. Acting as a key escalation point, you will guide the resolution of critical technical issues and ensure seamless operations across multi-cloud platforms. **Key Responsibilities** + Implement and maintain advanced monitoring tools, dashboards, and operational runbooks to ensure system health and stability. + Continuously refine alerting mechanisms to enhance efficiency and reduce operational noise. + Design and maintain solutions for observability, backups, disaster recovery, and other critical operational processes. + Optimize incident management workflows, ensuring rapid detection and resolution of issues. + Manage the integration and interoperability of Azure, AWS, and hybrid cloud infrastructures. + Ensure seamless communication and functionality across diverse environments. + Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like ARM and Terraform to automate cloud operations and configurations. + Develop scripts and automation workflows to streamline operational tasks. + Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues, driving their resolution in collaboration with the NOC team. + Lead incident response efforts to minimize downtime and maintain service availability. + Ensure cloud environments meet security, compliance, and certification requirements. + Collaborate with security teams to address vulnerabilities and maintain robust infrastructure protection. + Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, infrastructure, and security, to support and optimize cloud operations. + Share insights and best practices to foster operational improvements and team knowledge growth. **Required Skills and Experience** + **Cloud Expertise:** + 7+ years of experience in NOC operations and cloud infrastructure management. + Deep understanding of AWS and Azure environments, including monitoring tools like New Relic and logging systems. + **Automation and Scripting:** + Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like ARM and Terraform. + Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell. + **Operational Knowledge:** + Expertise in SaaS, PaaS, DaaS, IaaS, and hybrid/multi-cloud architectures. + Strong background in developing and managing monitoring solutions and operational dashboards. + **Problem Solving:** + Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues effectively under pressure. + **Security and Compliance:** + Experience in managing compliance standards and leading security audits for cloud infrastructures. + **Collaboration and Communication:** + Excellent teamwork and communication skills to work across technical and non-technical teams. + Ability to document and share operational processes and improvements effectively. **The guiding principles for success at Norstella:** **01: Bold, Passionate, Mission-First** We have a lofty mission to Smooth Access to Life Saving Therapies and we will get there by being bold and passionate about the mission and our clients.
