Senior NPI-QC Verification Specialist

As a Senior NPI-QC Verification Specialist at Fortinet, you will be responsible for the tests of full hardware development cycle of Fortinet’s products. You have to participate in the test functions designing, driver porting and image coding.

Responsibilities:

Carry out firmware and system verification tests for product development and experimental projects. Work with hardware and firmware developers for failure analysis and troubleshooting. Design and develop test scripts and tools for automated tests. Design and develop test plan and test cases. Design and develop firmware tools for Fortinet products.

Skills Required:

Hands on working knowledge with C/C++ in Linux. Knowledge of ARM system. Understanding and use of any script language(python, perl and shell) Familiar with TCP/IP and other networking protocols Knowledge of verification and validation methodologies. Knowledge of computer hardware, BIOS and system design. Capable of switching focus in various situations and apply themselves to quickly learning new technologies and adopting new methodologies Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, with strong attention to details. Excellent communication skill and ability to work as a team player.

Educational Requirements:

BS or MS Degree in Computer Engineering or related discipline

 

The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $90,000 - $121,000 annually.  Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level.  Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.
