As a Senior Nuclear Safety Engineer with Westinghouse Fauske & Associates, Inc. (FAI), you will independently support calculations and support validation experiments to maintain nuclear safety performance engineering calculations and assessments for nuclear power plants, waste treatment and severe accident modeling. Severe accident modeling will include thermal-hydraulics modeling and analysis, heat and mass transfer radiological source term. You will also make improvements.
You will report to the Manager of Experimental & Accident Modeling. You will work hybrid 2 days per week on-site at the Westinghouse Global Headquarters in Cranberry Woods, PA in the Greater Pittsburgh Area.

Responsibilities:Software development and implement mathematical models into a C++ codebase, Fortran, and Python
Prepare documentation for evaluations
Verify first of a kind evaluation
Meet assignment requirements within schedule and budget
Plan independent assignments and support strategic programs

Qualifications:Minimum 5 years
Modular Accident Analysis Program (MAAP)
C++, Fortran, Visual Basic, MathCAD or Python
