The Senior Nursing Educator plans, directs, coordinates, evaluates, develops, and/or delivers training and education programs for professional nursing personnel. The Senior Nursing Educator work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
The Senior Nursing Educator develops educational goals and plans for new associate orientation, ongoing training, and professional development. Training programs may include, but not be limited to, Care Management, Utilization Management, and/or Compliance. RN licensure is required at all levels. This role makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is often performed without direction. This role exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on nursing education.Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state where you reside with no disciplinary action5 years or more of clinical experience2 years of experience educating nursesKnowledge of adult learning theoryComprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookPreferred Qualifications
3-5 years of learning, training and/or facilitation experienceScheduled Weekly Hours

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting.
