Senior O365 Systems Administrator

Duties and Responsibilities

Lead the team of other Office 365 administrators and provide technical guidance as a Subject Matter Expert. Administer and support Office 365, Azure, Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, and other Office 365 application policies. Accountable for building, maintaining, administrating, documenting, and ensuring the health of all Microsoft Cloud services in our environment. Understand advanced system management concepts for Office 365 and Azure such as redundancy, security, high availability, and system integration. Responsible for securing the Office 365 and Azure environments from both internal and external threats. Implement security controls to the Azure and Office 365 environment based on best practices and aligned to ISMS 27001. Managing the Office 365 interface and performing technical tasks related to domains, security groups, users, and licenses. Administer and support Azure Active Directory and Exchange policies. Administer the Exchange environment, responsible for maintaining the settings for user mailboxes and e-mail, including the settings required for connectivity with Outlook. Maintain records and inventories of the systems and conduct periodic audit, back-up and recovery, preventive maintenance and system upgrade. Maintain an advanced understanding the principles of the systems including but not limited to: Microsoft Exchange Online Azure Active Directory Microsoft Office applications Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive Advanced level in PowerShell scripting On-premises AD Connect Microsoft Security (ATP, Defender, Intune) Automation (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) Interact with other IT team members, vendors, and suppliers to assist in the analysis, data gathering, troubleshooting, identification of root cause, technical support, and resolution of issues. Facilitate, assist, and provide the project teams including but not limited to software development team in preparing the required systems, applications, and tools to meet the user and business requirements. Provide consultation, provide training materials, and end-user training to enable the employees of the organization better understanding of the different Office 365 features and applications. Assess and implement standard processes to improve efficiency in user support and operations, aligned with TGI Quality Management System (ISO 9001) Perform other duties as assigned, if necessary.
