Main Tasks:
- Surface transportation and local distribution network management
• Plan, create and execute transportation shipments, select vendor and schedule route in SAP. Manage daily delivery list and perform transportation track & trace in Weika
• Collaborate customer service officers and transportation vendors on scheduling trucks, monitoring required activities of loading and unloading, handling daily exceptional cases
• Warehouse operational management, including GR, GI, Write-off and material movement related activities in timely and accurate manner, collaborate warehouse vendor to handle daily exception cases
• Support finance on annual stock-taking, collaborate with warehouse vendor on periodically stock-taking to ensure inventory consistency between system and physical
• Insurance claim for transportation damages and losses
• Handle logistics cost of transportation and warehouse, support on activities of service cost verification internally and externally
• Trouble shooting for end-to-end process and seeking for system wise solution, automation and digital tool is encouraged to deploy within BASF resources
- Operational Vendor Management
• Monitor KPIs according to logistic contract, co-work with logistic procurement to improve service level
• Monitor TDS requirements have been fulfilled, co-work with TDS to conduct onsite inspection randomly
• Support on implementing EHSQ requirements, co-work with QM and EHS teams for continuous improvements
• Organize service performance review, safety walk and process improvements on regular basis
- NCM and continuous improvement
• Create NC according to non-conformity case and find out root cause and corrective measure
• Identify and analyze drawbacks / risks and work out feasible solutions
• Update new practices and requirements into SOP through closed-loop management.
- Teamwork
• Support leader to handle transportation operational problems and trouble shooting in system
• Support leader to develop ISO document /working instruction and ensure QM compliance in daily operations
• Support CP industrial teams on projects, initiatives, special topics regarding to logistic area when necessary
- Compliance
• Comply with the respective national laws and generally accepted business practices consistent with laws
• Comply with all respective cooperate guidelines


Requirements:
- Education: College degree or above in international trade, logistics, supply chain or related discipline
- Working Experience: Above 1 year working experience in logistics or supply chain; Working experience in chemical industry preferred.
- Technical & Professional Knowledge: Good capability in written and verbal English and Mandarin; Skillful in software of excel, word, and power point; Experience in SAP operation preferred
- Excellent communication skill, trouble-shooting skill and coordination skill
