Position Objective:
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Medical Underwriting Officer. The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee the underwriting process for medical and non-medical cases related to ordinary life products.

Roles And Responsibility

Evaluate and analyze medical and non-medical cases to determine appropriate underwriting decisions for ordinary life products. Assist in reviewing and assessing referred cases from the point of sale, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate underwriting decisions. Collaborate with agents to address underwriting issues and negotiate solutions, ensuring alignment between the company's underwriting guidelines and agent's expectations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, policies, and guidelines to ensure compliance in the underwriting process. Efficiently document all underwriting decisions, track and analyze trends, and generate reports as necessary Contribute to month and year-end closing processes by delivering accurate underwriting reports and data as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in related field.A minimum of 5 years of experience in underwriting or claims.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to handle multiple tasks and work effectively under high-pressure situations.Contribute to month and year-end closing processes by delivering accurate underwriting reports and data as required.
