Senior On-Site Service Specialist

**Position Profile:**
The Senior On-Site Service Specialist provides operational functions in various areas, including sorting, mailing, shipping and receiving products, handling incoming and outgoing mail/faxes, and applying necessary postage. This role requires advanced presentation and telephone skills, distinguishing it as a senior-level position within on-site services. The position reports directly to the Site Manager, Site Supervisor, or Assistant Site Manager, depending on the site’s personnel configuration.
**Job Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Perform scanning and/or imaging of documents.
+ Maintain records for management reports and track inventory of supplies.
+ Distribute office supplies, faxes, and mail to company personnel or designated drop-off points.
+ Calculate charges for jobs performed, maintain logs, and generate reports as required.
+ Perform filing duties in line with specific customer requests, including archiving documents.
+ Travel between customer buildings as needed.
+ Handle shipping and receiving materials.
+ Perform light maintenance and cleaning duties as assigned.
+ Occasionally engage in shipping, receiving, and dock work in a mailroom environment.
+ Operate equipment including shrink-wrap machines, paper cutters, hole drillers, bindery equipment, joggers, tape machines, stackers, electric staplers, and scales for job completion.
+ Utilize copiers, fax machines, postage meters, and some PC applications.
+ Ensure that data for Ricoh MOR, SPG, and job logs are accurately captured.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Certifications):**
+ High school diploma or GED required.
+ 1-2 years of related work experience.
+ Some experience in related copy jobs is preferred.
+ Valid driver’s license and minimum levels of auto insurance coverage may be required.
+ Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**
+ Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
+ Basic electronics knowledge is preferred.
+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
+ Competency in determining correct packing materials and checking packing slips for accuracy.
+ Ability to follow instructions for mail delivery and other tasks.
+ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals and related publications.
+ Excellent customer relations and verbal communication skills.
**Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Demands:**
+ Frequent exposure to copier/fax machine noise, toner, and temperature changes.
+ Potential exposure to paper cuts from handling documents and boxes.
+ Requires walking between buildings in varying weather conditions.
+ Daily interaction with customers, employees, managers, and occasional vendor contact.
+ High stress levels due to tight deadlines and quick turnaround times.
+ Physical requirements include standing, walking, bending, reaching, stretching, and lifting up to 50 lbs., as well as moving equipment weighing up to 400 lbs.
