We are currently seeking a Senior OpenShift Engineer / SME to join our team in Irving, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement solid, scalable and flexible solutions to support clients migrating and transforming from commodity hardware to Oracle Exastack. Partner with our Sales organization to help sell Exastack related services by providing pre-sales support activities such as drafting proposals, providing effort estimations, and participating in client presentations Collaborate with internal teams and interact with customers to find solutions for projects and operational issues for existing and proposed Oracle Engineered Systems (Exadata, Exalogic and Super Clusters) Leverage extensive Oracle implementation experience to lead the delivery of the Exastack specific engagements Engage Oracle’s sales, alliance, and product teams to develop joint solutions and go to market activities
Basic Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in OpenShift 8+ years of experience in Ansible 8+ years of experience in GitHub 8+ years of experience in OpenStack 8+ years of experience across the entire enterprise data center stack from the hardware to the application layer at major consulting firm or systems integrator 3+ years of experience conceptualizing and architecting the target environment for Oracle Exastack 2+ years of experience supporting professional services sales cycle including proposal development, RFP responses, and account expansion initiatives
Degree: Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent work experience
