Position: Senior Operational Data and Reporting Analyst
(this position is Hybrid working 2 days a week in the Denton Texas Support Center and does not include Relocation Assistance)

JOB DUTIES:
Implement and maintain Sally Beauty’s technology infrastructure to support efficient data management and communications. Develop and maintain solutions that generate data extracts and/or reports as well as the presentation layer. Help create workflows and applications that retrieve data from multiple data sources, merge/clean the data, and generate reports and/or data extracts. Perform data quality analysis to ensure data is accurate and meets reporting standards used within the organization. Collaborate with stakeholders to design A/B tests, analyze results of A/B tests, create recurring reporting, create models used for optimal rollout of further test treatment. Partner with internal customers to learn their business, capture requirements, and collaborate with BI developers to ensure that the required information is available for usage within the organization. Help locate and define process improvements working with the Data Analyst working group and developers.
 

MININIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
•Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Business Analytics, or related field.
•Two years’ experience as a Business Analyst, Analyst, or Senior Buyer in retail or consumer products.
 

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Experience must include one (1) year of experience with: SQL querying; Alteryx workflow and application creation; data munging, process/report automation; Tableau report creation; Python scripting; working with RESTful APIs; documentation; data analysis with Alteryx, Tableau, Python, and/or Excel.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 

May telecommute from home in the Denton, TX MSA.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting and training rooms, retail stores, and residences or commercial vehicles, e.g., use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, observance of fire regulations and traffic signals, etc. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.
The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, files, books, small parts; using a keyboard, driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
