The PositionYou will ensure the manufacturing of quality products through the departmental standards and procedures, and continuous quality, safety, and efficiency improvement efforts.
Leads, supports and enables a continuous improvement culture.
Specific Deliverables associated with this opportunity include:Production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency and materials supply.Ensures safe, quality, and timely manufacture of biopharmaceutical product for pre-clinical, clinical and commercial use.Ensures that all production operations are completed in accordance with GMP regulatory guidelines.Ensures the availability of appropriate SOPs and documentation are provided to enable timely GMP batch record release.Develop and implement programs to drive operational excellence towards timely and accurate delivery.Collaborate with Process Development group to ensure an appropriate process transfer with “facility fit” in mind.The RequirementsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant technical field with advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred.CDMO - Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization experience8+ years operations experience with demonstrated ability as the manager of operations team.8+ years experience in stem cell therapy operations.Must possess excellent knowledge and proven ability to achieve improvements using quality systems and lean manufacturing tools, concepts and methodologies.Demonstrated ability to provide personnel leadership.Proven track record to interact effectively with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams to achieve business objectives.Must demonstrate proficiency in the development of reports for measuring operations efficiency.The ProficienciesThe successful candidate will have the following skills:

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $127,600.00–$191,350.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
