Located at the heart of Times Square, this upscale hotel soars 44 stories above Manhattan, offers 478 rooms and features three food and beverage outlets\.
The ideal candidate will have 4\-5 years of hotel experience in various departments including Front Office, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping and Engineering\. Knowledge of New York Union Local 6, as well as an affinity for team building and interpersonal skills are important aspects to the ideal candidate\. This position will be the manager on duty during the PM shifts for all operations\. This position will report to the Director of Operations\!
**Shift Pattern:** Full Availability
**Compensation:** Between $80,000 \- $90,000 annually, final offer based on experience

**What will I be doing?**
As Senior Operations Manager, you would be responasible for managing the hotel operations on the PM Shift to ensure totalguest satisfaction profitability, control costs and maintain standards\. Providesleadership,organization,instructionandguidancetoHousekeeping, Front Office, Security, Engineering and F&B staff during the PM Shift\. Oversees housekeeping, front office systems, supplies inventory, scheduling,forecastinganddepartmentbudgettomaximizerevenue\.Compilesandpreparesfinancialreports,including:rateandavailabilitycalendar\.Interviews,trains,supervises,counsels,schedulesandevaluatesstaff\.Ensures completion of dailyobjectiveswhilemaintainingHilton'sBrandStandardsofcleanlinessandguestsatisfaction\. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
+ Distribute/delegate/inspect room and cleaning assignments to Housekeeping Team Members\.
+ Encouragesateamspiritamongststaffmemberswithleadershipandguidance
+ Train and SuperviseTeam Membersin proper work procedures and techniques in all operating departments\. Supervise and monitor work performance of Team Members by conducting roominspections\.
+ Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to staff\.Assigns and instructs Guest Service, FrontOffice, Security, Engineering, Front Desk Agents, and Housekeeping staffin the details ofwork\. Observesperformance andencouragesimprovement\. Attendvariousoperationalrelatedmeetingsto obtainanddisseminatepertinentinformation\.
+ Monitor team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations, providing professional development and delivering recognition and reward\.
+ Greets customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome, uses a positive andclear speaking voice, listens to and understandsrequests, issues, andsituations from both guests andTeamMembers\.
+ Manages Hotel operations throughtimes of stress,and emergencies, resolvesguest concerns, and implements resolutionsbyusingdiscretionand judgement\.
+ Recruit, interview and train team members
+ Act as liaison between hotel and vendors to review and assess latest hotel technology and products related to facility efficiency
