Wood is currently recruiting for a  Senior Operations Process Engineer to be based in our Clients office in Aberdeen on a hybrid basis 3 days in their office. This will be on a 6 month duration on a PSC basis working outside IR35.   Able to develop operating procedures for projects related scopes and manage the interface across offshore ops/onshore ops and project teams. Initial work will be Teal West focused and then linked to deck seal/ WHRU etc. Requires good understanding of process systems/operations.Description for Internal Candidates  Provide Process Engineering ExpertiseProvide input to development process studiesDefine process requirements for technical scopes related to various platform modifications Originating, checking  and approval of process engineering design deliverables including but not limited to; P&IDs, calculation, datasheets, line lists to enable development of deliverables used in modifications, offshore work-packs and in the supply chainProvide support to HAZOPs/HAZID’s and other technical reviews as requiredUndertake checking and approval of process deliverablesProvide support to the contract delivery teamProvide technical expertise to the contractResolve process related engineering issues by applying accepted principles, codes and standardsAdhere to procedures to assure technical integrity of process designsProvide support for interdisciplinary considerations through attendance at required design reviews and undertaking inter discipline checkingMaintain own knowledge and understanding to meet competence requirements of Senior Process EngineerProvide feedback on lessons learnt to aide in continuous improvementUtilise software tools in design development and checking as required (eg Hisys)
