Senior Operations Project Advisor - Remote

Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and data driven Business Project Sr. Advisor to join our team. This role is pivotal in creating innovative solutions that enhance customer self-service capabilities and streamline the employee experience. As the Business Project Sr. Advisor, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and strategic counsel to project teams throughout the project lifecycle ensuring alignment with business objectives by offering insights on feasibility, risk mitigation, and successes, while collaborating with stakeholders to optimize project outcomes and deliver successful results. You will serve as the liaison between the operations team and the technology team, ensuring that new technology solutions effectively address operational challenges.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the operations team to gain a deep understanding of operational problems and ensure that problem statements are accurately defined.Conduct thorough analyses to identify root causes of operational issues using methodologies such as the 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, or other root cause analysis tools.Uncover underlying issues and develop a comprehensive understanding of the problems.Work closely with the technology team to brainstorm and identify potential solutions to the identified problems.Evaluate proposed solutions to ensure they are aligned with the identified problems and will effectively resolve them.Coordinate and manage rapid test and learn pilots to evaluate new technology solutions.Develop pilot plans, including objectives, timelines, and success criteria.Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.Gather and analyze feedback from the operations team during and after pilot implementations to assess the effectiveness of the solutions.Create comprehensive presentations and deliver updates to leaders on the progress and outcomes of technology initiatives.Collaborate with stakeholders to establish KPIs to measure the success of technology solutions.Understand financial drivers and ensure that solutions are cost-effective and align with budgetary constraints.Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of new technology solutions.Speak fluently in both technical and operational contexts to bridge the gap between technology and operations teams.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s and/or Advance Degree preferred8+ years of experience working in a large-scale operations environment, technology solutions, or project management role required.Strong experience with overseeing technology driven projects, including developing project plans, timelines, and managing resources required.Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, in particular Excel and PowerPointFamiliarity with agile methodologies and rapid prototyping.Proven experience in coordinating and managing pilot projects.Demonstrated ability to understand and document complex requirements.Knowledge of customer self-service technologies and employee experience platforms.Experience with root cause analysis and solution identification.Experience in establishing KPIs and understanding finance and workforce planning drivers.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills with experience in presenting to Senior Leaders both written and verbal.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.Ability to build consensus and drive decision-making.Strong change leadership skills.Extremely detail oriented, with excellent organizational skills

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 109,600 - 182,600 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
