Job Title: Senior Operations Research Analyst
Job Description:
This position will support the AFSC Consolidated Sustainment Activity Group Supply resources in the performance of financial, technical, analytical and reporting activities required for Air Force budget and asset management.
The individual in this role must have experience working in AF supply chain processes, with experience in both retail and wholesale supply, and expertise in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access Database Management using data management and data analysis skills. Should have experience formulating and applying mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assists management with decision making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions. This experience must include collecting and analyzing data and developing decision support software, service, or products. Experience analyzing supply chains for optimal time, cost, or logistics networks for program evaluation, review, or implementation.).
Additionally, this individual will conduct various types of specialized cost, schedule, technical, performance and program data research efforts in support of the AFSC mission. Will conduct analytical investigations, develop analysis methods and techniques. These efforts shall include data collection/normalization and analysis; development of estimating relationships; development of, or calibration of, models, queries, statistical process control tools, supply processes, procedures/operations and cost growth factor analysis of weapons system supply support programs. Will be responsible for the technical and statistical validity of studies, advice AFSC metrics personnel of the results and implications of studies for which responsible particularly in relation to advances in scientific knowledge and techniques in fields applicable to performance measurement of the supply chain program.
Required Skills/Education:
Masters' degree and 10 years of related experience.
