Senior Operations Specialist

This role involves coordinating various aspects of Logistics and supply chain management, including transportation, customs clearance, 3rd party warehousing, and documentation. This position coordinates with various stakeholders, including suppliers, carriers, and brokers to ensure timely delivery of goods to our customers globally at scale. In This Role, You Will: Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Operational Coordination: Oversee the planning and execution of international & Domestic shipments, including scheduling, routing, and tracking to ensure timely delivery. Project Management: – Work with department managers and key stake holders on cross functional projects. Be the main liaison for communicating actions and monitoring progress Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with Domestic and International suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics partner. Scheduling: Schedule all vendor calls and coordinate action items and information to the necessary manager and stakeholders collect meeting notes and minutes Logistics – Freight Quotes, Freight Scheduling, and Sourcing Orders Quality Metrics – Record and report on all vendor related issues in sales force. Prepare vendor issues week to week and track action items for each vendor Communication – Able to communicate cross functionally across the organization. Has to interface with clients internal, external, at all levels of the organization Problem solving and Escalations- Adress and resolve and escalate operational issues related to delivery of goods to our events. Communicate any vendor issues, delivery delays, product shortages and logistics challenges to key stakeholders and department leaders Reporting- Able to collect, Compile and present Cvent data to the key stakeholders in the company on a regular basis. Data Entry – Systems Transactions, Shipment Records Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the logistics process and develop strategies to mitigate them. Standards: Help to Create and implement Standard Operating Procedures and business rules to formalize business practices Systems- Systems savvy proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience using MRP/ERP or Transportation management software is a plus. On Call weekend support as needed Here's What You Need: Associates degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field a plus 2-4 years of experience in logistics or related field Domestic and International shipping experience. Experience using logistics software and systems (e.g., TMS, ERP). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Physical Demands We are not able to offer sponsorship for this position
