Job Summary

Under the direction of the Manager of Talent and Organizational Development, the Senior Organizational Development Specialist manages various aspects of leadership & organizational design. This role will support all facets of the Performance Coaching leadership framework as well as tangential responsibilities in the support of other organizational initiatives.

Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities:

Partners with the Manager of Talent and Organizational Development to manage and continually assess the Performance Coach framework including on-going practices, systems, and rituals inherent in the role.

Supports and develops all aspects of Wipfli’s Performance Coach modelMonitors the Wipfli PC Model to ensure effectiveness; assists in evaluating competence to ensure quality and effective coaching.Gathers & evaluates best practice research & brings cutting edge development practices to the performance coaching role.Coordinates and facilitates development experiences to improve Performance Coach (PCs) and other leaders’ knowledge, skill, ability, and competence.Collaborates with other Talent & Culture team members to provide the best experience to all Performance coaches in support of firm goals.Provides input and make recommendations for change in the design, content and delivery methods.Maintains current understanding of best practices in adult learning.Uses data and analytics to evaluate effectiveness of the PC Model.Sets metrics in place to evaluate & measure business impact of the role.

Partners with the Manager of Talent & Organizational Development to guide and support the framework of Performance Management processes – including the annual performance review process, goal setting and development planning.

Leverages the annual performance review process to develop associates including Performance Coaches and other leaders.Reviews effectiveness of the overall performance management & development planning process and suggests improvement.Supports the goal setting process to improve business outcomes.

Oversees Wipfli’s engagement processes by:

Managing the engagement assessment process.Identifying trends and themes and addressing them for improved engagement through both leadership and Performance Coaches.Consults with leaders and teams throughout Wipfli to address identified engagement issues.Collaborates with Wipfli leaders and Field HR Team to continuously ensure quality action planning that is tied to business requirements into tangible performance outcomes.

Applies a “systems thinking” approach to addressing culture development, engagement, and talent by:

Influencing Performance Coaches and other leaders to support various talent strategiesEmploying change management practicesExamining all the stakeholders, influencers and systems that drive behaviors and attitudes

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, in talent development, organizational development, culture, change or related field7+ years’ experience working in an Organizational Development related field7+ years’ experience managing people or leading a team.Experience managing all aspects of an associate engagement survey.Project management experience.5+ years of facilitation of leadership development experiences/ non-technical training.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Workday implementation.Experience using Peakon.Experience working in a matrixed organization.Experience presenting to & influencing multiple stakeholders at all levels.

Skills & Abilities:

Ability to influence without authority.Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work effectively.Ability to balance many projects simultaneously.Ability to work under pressure and time deadlines.Ability to analyze data and recommend solutions.Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.Advanced in PowerPoint and Excel.Proficient in Word and Outlook.

Wipfli values fair, transparent, and competitive compensation, considering each candidate's unique skills and experiences. The estimated base pay range for this role is $88,000 - $118,000, with offers typically not made at the maximum, allowing for future salary increases. The actual salary at the time of offer depends on business related factors like location, skills, experience, training/education, licensure, certifications, business needs, current associate pay, and relevant employment laws.

Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.
