Join us. **Job Description** **Job Description** AECOM is seeking a **Senior** **Organizational Strategist** to join our growing Strategy+ practice to take leading roles in major infrastructure programs and shape AECOM’s perspective on organizational strategy to push the edges in all aspects of our work.. This opportunity is based out of Mississauga, with opportunities for hybrid work available. **Job Summary:** The ideal candidate has an organizational psychology and/or human resources background and/or possesses strong skills in these disciplines. They also have a rare blend of the experience in industry as well as theory, have a passion to challenge traditional wisdom, be creative while also being strategic. If this sounds like you, you will be joining our multidisciplinary team to support projects which encompass world class corporations, agencies, institutions, universities and colleges, as well as the local and federal government. **Once You Are Here You Will:** Your role as a Senior Organizational Strategist will vary from project to project, relationship to relationship, and may include: + Assessing organizational capabilities, structures and processes and develop the future capabilities, competencies and critical roles that enable an organization’s 5-10 year strategy + Helping clients to shape and act on change strategies for complex organizational challenges to capitalize on value-creating opportunities; these strategies may start small and lead to a long-term impact at scale + Translating behavioral research into insights that can be easily communicated to your collaborators and clients to inspire possible solutions, while leading interviews, workshops, and analysis of analogous industries and organizations to understand work dynamics and areas of opportunities. + Provide support and coaching to a team of Organizational Strategist and working with them to craft and deliver the work for clients. + Design tools, methodologies and frameworks that address strategic and organizational issues like lack of collaboration due to siloed organizations, and foster new ways of thinking and working **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements:** In order to be considered for this position, candidates must possess, at a very minimum: + Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, including but not limited to: Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Psychology, Business Administration plus 6 (six) years of related experience in any of the following: organizational design, change management, human resources, program management and developing and implementing new ways of thinking and working. Demonstrated equivalency of experience and education may be considered. **Preferred Requirements:** A T-shaped individual that asks thought provoking questions, are comfortable wading into ambiguous problems and can take ownership, a critical thinker, and has specialized experience in one or more of the following areas: + Organizational psychology, behavioral economics + Change management + Workforce planning, operations and capability development + Program Management + Management consulting and / or corporate strategy + Data analytics & modeling + User research, synthesis of qualitative data and generating insights It would be a bonus if you have: + 8 (eight) years of relevant experience + Master's or Doctorate Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Psychology or Business Administration + Been a part of a major infrastructure program and preferably led activities associated with organization design, governance and resource planning + Membership to the Canadian Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (CSIOP) + Rolled out digital transformation strategies **Additional Information** **Application Instructions:** The following materials are required for your application to be considered + Resume + Cover letter (yes, we read them!) explaining why you are interested in AECOM and Strategy+, and how your skills and experience align to this opportunity + Project Example To get to know you and your experience better, attach an example of work that you’re proud to help us understand your process, learnings & insights, why you made particular decisions, and most importantly, what was interesting or unexpected!
