The UCLA Santa Monica Hospital is seeking to hire a full-time Sr. Orthopaedic Technician to join our Orthopaedic Surgery Department. You will providing assistance to patients and physicians in the full scope of Orthopaedic services. Primary duties include:

–       Interviewing and reviewing patient’s medical history and ensure documentation is completed

–       Fitting, applying, adjusting, removing, repairing, wedging, and windowing of casts (may be of plaster, fiberglass, or synthetic materials)

–       Applying, adjusting, and removing of braces, splints (knee, elbow, ankle, Pavlik, etc)

–       Removing sutures and staples

–       Assisting in OR as first assistant or scrub tech

–       Completing routine patient care tasks so physicians and other clinic staff can attend to other clinical and administrative functions.

–       Other administrative tasks as assigned

Please note: the work schedule for this position is Monday – Friday, 11am-8pm 

Salary Range: $32.77/hr – $43.21/hr
