Senior OSS Fulfilment Engineer
What you’ll do Accountable for design, development and deployment of systems and complex and versatile solutions across the European markets and Group functions in line with business needs and the strategy of the domain and the verticalAccountable to manage the entire Lifecycle of the systems and solutions in area of accountability, including Identification of technical synergy potentials and derivation of recommendations for actionIndependent and responsible execution of complex and strategic programs & projects and lead of multinational and cross domain working groupsIndependent and autonomous development of technical and strategic concepts for special tasks and presentation to expert gremiums and management circlesSupports the management of the domain/vertical in operational and strategic decisions with active contribution to the strategic roadmap of the domain/verticalAnalyses and evaluates the business requirements  in accordance with the Demand Management Process and translates into them into Solution DesignsIndependent development of technical and strategic concepts for complex challenges and creation of decision templates for domain and cross domain management bodiesManages the entire project lifecycle, coordinating and steering suppliers during the design, development and implementation phase in accordance to the Delivery Management ProcessAccountable for effective Release Management and Capacity Management for accounted systemsAccountable for project/program delivery in time, quality and budgetActively evaluates opportunities to optimise the design & delivery process and proposes respective improvements measuresEfficient control and steer of external suppliers, alignment of product roadmap with businesses & domains strategyContinuous alignment of business strategies with solution & product roadmap and active consultancy of business stakeholders how innovative solutions can contribute to their efficiency increase and cost optimization

Customers, suppliers

Manages stakeholders up to senior management level across different European markets and Group functionsRepresents his domain in VF internal gremiums and expert groups cross market and in GroupSelects and coordinates suppliers for the design, development and implementation phase in accordance to the Delivery Management Process

Leadership and teamwork

Leads project and program teams with more than 10 people including sub-projects in a matrix organisationClose collaboration with the Design Authorities across domains as well as with E2E Design Authority to ensure  solutions' compliance with design guidelines and principles. Contributes with his knowledge to the further development of the architectural framework and guidelinesInitiates and leads User Groups for accounted systems and solutions to ensure continuous feedback and improvementsIdentifies best practice and technological innovations and ensures that these are reflected in the domain strategy and roadmap

Innovation and change

Evaluates and designs concepts to modernise, harmonise and consolidate systems across the markets and actively promotes reuse of strategic solutions to drive efficiency gain and cost reductionApplies and actively advertises the use new technologies/methodologies (e.g. Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Agile Development) in the area of accountability

Communication

Professional presentation of the project/delivery results as well as of technical concepts up to the Senior Management, SLT and within the different business units across markets and GroupWho you are Engineering degree in telecommunications or computer science or equivalent7 years professional experience in telecommunication or ITKnowledge of IT standards (i,e, ITIL, ETOM), project management methodologies (e.g. Prince2) and Agile working methods (i.e. Scrum, Design Thinking).  Certifications desirableExperience in managing large and complex projects and programsKnowledge of innovative technologies like Artificial Intelligence & Machine LearningDistinct conceptual and analytical thinking and workingGoal and team-oriented working method., high level of empathy and cultural awarenessProfessional leadership competence for the decisive shaping of special topics and strategic concepts tailored to the target audienceHigh flexibility and resilience, even under high pressureExcellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills Self -confident/high impact presentation/communication with decision -makers and suppliersCustomer centric and systematic way of workingAbility to work across multi-functional and cultural boundaries to deliver excellent results and to initiate & drive changeProficiency in English and Portuguese requiredNot a perfect fit?
