Senior Patient Services Specialist

The front office will participate in a variety of patient and non-patient activities to assist the operations of Providence Regional Cancer System in providing a competent and caring environment for patients and their families.  This position works under the direction and supervision of the Clinic Supervisor, Clinic Manager or appropriate staff to support in the delivery of cost-effective, clinically competent, reliable healthcare in a safe, respectful manner that ensures patient respect and dignity.  Provide effective and efficient front office services to patients for all departments within Providence Regional Cancer System including but not limited to: Providence Medical Group, Providence Centralia Hospital Outpatient Infusion, Providence Centralia Hospital Outpatient Laboratory, Providence Centralia Hospital Diagnostic Imaging, Providence St. Peter Hospital Lymphedema, Providence Centralia Hospital Pharmacy, and Providence Integrative Cancer Care Program.

Required qualifications:

H.S. Diploma or GED. Computer experience (word processing). 1 year Working in a medical setting.

Preferred qualifications:

Coursework/Training: Two years of community college/business school training.  Coursework/Training: Additional course work in business or health care related subjects.  Experience with electronic medical records Physician group practice.
