Description We are seeking a Senior Payroll Consultant to assist our client with a one year project In Piscataway, NJ. This role will responsible for assting the payroll team of a large organization as it goes through a system implementation. This role will be responsible for payroll operations as well as accounting functions such as journal entries, reconciliations and general ledge analysis. Prior experience with large system implementations is required. This is a hybrid onsite schedule (3 days a week onsite) in Piscataway, NJ. Responsibilities: • Provide consultation on payroll projects, utilizing your experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and Accounting Software Systems. • Collaborate with teams to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications. • Conduct audits of payroll systems to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Use AB Testing to evaluate system modifications and improvements. • Perform accounting functions related to payroll as needed. • Document business requirements and workflows for payroll systems. Requirements Bachelor's Degree is required. Must have prior experience with both payroll and accounting responsibilities. Must have prior experience leading teams through large scale system implementations.
