Senior Payroll Manager
System One
System One is assisting a Tulsa client with a search for a Senior Payroll Manager to lead the company's payroll and accounting administration efforts. This position provides leadership to a team, ensuring all payroll processes are executed accurately and efficiently, meeting or exceeding management expectations.
Responsibilities:
+ Oversee the monthly and annual accounting closing cycles, ensuring accurate recording of costs and preparing necessary reports
+ Maintain and enhance accounting policies and procedures, implementing process improvements as needed
+ Review and process payroll data, including managing pay rates and salary changes for all staff
+ Ensure compliance with company policies and governmental regulations regarding payroll procedures
+ Direct the preparation of government reports related to payroll
+ Lead, mentor/develop, and evaluate a team of five to twenty ensuring adherence to policies and performance standards
+ Drive communication across departments to expedite workflow and enhance overall productivity
Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field
+ A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in a supervisory or management role
+ Experience with ADP a must, strong proficiency in Excel and Word also required
+ Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
+ Strong work ethic with a positive attitude
Salary: $125K - $150K
