The Senior Payroll Specialist will be working as part of the International Payroll team with a primary focus on DACH region. This person will process payroll, interface with Antech Associates across the organization, and work with internal teams and external payroll vendors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timelyPerforms correct gross-net calculation and employees are paid the correct salary, payroll checking, identifying payroll errors, and liaising with employees locallyMonthly consultations with our payroll providerMonitor and control the input and output and ensure that all output reaches the correct receivers on timePrepares and maintains detailed reconciliation documentation of payroll data to payroll providerPerform analysis and find solutions for issues in the field of social insurance, tax, and collective labor agreements, independently identify bottlenecks and resolve themA proactive input in administrative activities is needed, so that these are handled quickly and efficientlyPartner with internal and external parties, such as the financial department, insurance, and the tax authorities, to ensure appropriate flow of data and reportingProvides support on payroll implementation and/or transitionBalance respective payrolls based on yearend calendar and remit all Third-Party Remittances by defined due dates, complete all Year End balancing, filing & respective reportingHighlight relevant matters that may impact the running of clientAlso responsible for improving and adjusting internal processes and work instructionsWill support the wider international team with other EMEA payrollsQUALIFICATIONS:
University degree - Human Resources, Economics, Science, Accounting5+ years professional experience in payroll calculation and personnel administrationExcellent working knowledge of international tax and payroll procedures, labor law and collective agreement lawExperience with country specific fiscal law and social security lawExperience with payroll systems: ADP payroll, Workday, otherFluency in EnglishAdvanced to native level of German languagePayroll implementations experienceMastery of Windows office toolsDemonstrable knowledge of ExcelAnalytical thinkingPro-active and self-motivatedAbility to work with complex international topics, quick learnerConfident working with people at all levels of the businessPlease submit your resumes in English.
