GDIT has an opportunity for a dynamic and talented senior Pega developer to join our team supporting the Administrative Office of the US Courts (AOUSC) Case Management Systems Office (CMSO) in its modernization effort for one of its mission-critical applications that is used by all U.S. district and appellate courts’ staff members and external stakeholders. Over 59 million cases are managed on current systems with more than 1 million unique users. CMSO has a mature agile practice using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and supports a broad range of complex business systems which are instrumental to the AOUSC mission.
Responsibilities:
Analyze customer business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for Pega applications.Design, develop, and deploy a proof of concept in Pega and deploy in AWS or Azure cloud using best practices and industry standards.Analyze and evaluate Pega and similar products to identify strengths and weaknesses and make recommendations for improvement.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Pega solutions with other systems.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Pega applications.Qualifications:
MA/MS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline. Experience may be considered in lieu of degree as follows: HS (18+ years), AA/AS (16+ years), BA/BS (14+ years), Doctorate Degree/Ph.D. (11+ years)12+ years of experience in developing enterprise level IT systems8+ years of hand on experience in implementing cloud based case management systems using PegaStrong understanding of Pega rulesets, activities, flows, and case lifecycles.Expertise in Pega integration and data management.Proven ability to design and develop scalable and maintainable Pega applications.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to work independently with minimum supervisionProven experience in designing and implementing API-driven architectures, ensuring efficient and scalable communication between services and applications.Demonstrated experience in implementing DevOps methodologies, including CI/CD practices using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.Certifications:Certified Pega Business ArchitectCertified Pega System ArchitectExcellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Preferred Skills:
Developer or architect level certifications in AWS or AzureThe likely salary range for this position is $153,000 - $207,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
