Senior People Business Advisor
**What´s the role?** As the Senior People Business Advisor, you will be responsible for performing People related duties on a professional level and works closely with People Manager in supporting designated functions. Responsible for advice to the management on the transparent implementation of HR strategies and effective delivery of HR services. Assesses client needs, interprets and applies HR strategy and policies, rules and regulations, establishes internal procedures and provides solutions to a wide spectrum of complex HR issues. **How can you add value?** • Provide support for the implementation of programs and initiatives crafted to improve management and employee performance, efficiency, engagement and business results, aligned to strategy and business needs. Examples include utilizing Strategic Workforce Planning; Organizational Planning, Change Management; Culture, Coaching/Development, etc. • Support to mentor and build the capability of assigned function managers and supervisors to proactively work organizational issues. • Proactively share best practices, intelligence and continuous improvement strategies within the People function and systems. • Work with Labor Relations on employee performance, employee conduct and general employee relations and labor issues, to guarantee adherence with Company policies and procedures. • Conduct employee exit interviews and disseminates information as appropriate. • Ensure appropriate postings of all Federal, State and local employment laws are current at all locations; audits document retention and destruction as appropriate for all HR documentation. • Effectively communicate with management to provide direction on employee issues including disciplinary actions, grievances, conduct and other HR related issues or strategies, to guarantee adherence with Company procedures and policies. • Gather background information and prepares formal disciplinary actions. Ensure official cases are accurately maintained with complete documentation to support proposed or final actions. Research and provid documentation in response to inquiries as required. • Use data to support business leaders with data driven recommendations. Drive the business performance in relation to the organization’s objectives. • Monitor, review and update all HR policies and ensure these are in line with current legislation. • Complete various projects specified to support the department. This may entail: conducting research and analysis; creating forms, processes and communication; providing specific reporting; and crafting detailed documentation of processes. • Compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory guidelines (e.g. EEO, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, OSHA, etc.) to the assigned functions. • People support to include processing status changes, terminations, accidents/incidents reports, unemployment hearings, layoffs, exit interviews, among others when necessary. • Assist with special projects, as assigned. • Represent organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations. • Demonstrate and maintain compliance with the Customer First Philosophy, all Liberty Latin America policies and procedures including the Code of Conduct and Liberty safety standards and procedures. • Other functions may be assigned. **What do you need?** **Education and/or Experience:** Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources. At least of 5 years of dynamic HR experience and at least 3 years in a HR Advisor role. **Other Qualifications:** • Fully Bilingual (Spanish and English). • Ability to travel to multiple job locations.
