Our work depends on the right PeopleSoft Developer Sr Advisor joining our team to develop/modify solutions for our PeopleSoft environment in support of our customers by providing a system that facilitates their daily work.  The PeopleSoft Developer Sr Advisor will implement solutions utilizing the wide variety of PeopleSoft development tools that allow our customers to work effectively in the tool.

HOW A SOFTWARE DEVELOPER SR ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Researches, designs, develops, tests, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications softwareApplies advanced knowledge to all phases of the software development lifecycleApplies advanced knowledge to analyze user/business needs and functionality to plan and design software systems to meet those needsApplies advanced knowledge to software updates, refinement, testing, and debugging to meet business needsProvides advance analysis for reports on software project specifications, activities, or statusProvides advanced guidance on the software or system for optimal documentation and future maintenance and updatesMay coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionalsMay serve as a team or task lead

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience and trainingIn-depth understanding of PeopleSoft architecture and application suite8+ years of experience working with PeopleSoft HCM and/or Payroll applications including: PeopleSoft 9.2 HCM and/or Payroll data modelsPeopleTools 8.61 or laterOracle or similar relational database requiredDemonstrated experience with SQL performance tuning and optimizationPeopleCode, Application Engine, Workflow, Component Interfaces, PS Query and SQRProcess Scheduler, Data Mover, and Import ManagerExperience in planning, implementation and design of PeopleSoft customizations and integrationsExperience writing complex conversions bringing data into PeopleSoft from acquisitionsStrong troubleshooting skills and demonstrated ability to lead high-visibility effortsExcellent interpersonal, written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with end usersStrong conceptual and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop initiatives, as well as recommend solutions to improve efficiencySelf-starter with excellent time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently with ease, while maintaining a strong focus on detail

Preferred Experience:

North American payroll processes including tax updates, year-end processing, reverse/adjustments, overpayments and garnishmentsDevelopment experience utilizing XML Publisher, BI Publisher, Crystal Reports, App Messaging and Fluid pagesWorking knowledge in setting up PeopleSoft Security and maintaining of Security Admin Configurations (permissions and roles)Experience working with technical aspects of PeopleSoft security and troubleshooting security related access and row level security issuesStrong experience with multiple PeopleSoft application and tools upgrades
