WHAT WE OFFER: Our W2 employees can expect the following benefits: + Competitive pay + Health/Dental Insurance + Group Life Insurance + 401K + HSA/FSA + Pre-Tax Transportation Program + Generous Paid Time Off/Holiday Policy SCOPE OF SERVICES: As a Senior PeopleSoft Upgrade Specialist, your responsibilities include: + Executing the appropriate upgrade scripts, performing system configurations, and creating/retrofitting existing code, web services, interfaces, and reports to upgrade the NYCAPS PeopleSoft application. + Installing, maintaining, and configuring PeopleSoft, PeopleTools, and associated Middleware infrastructure. + Supporting the infrastructure of critical Citywide applications, including NYCAPS and related applications. + Collaborating with Technical Leads and project teams to coordinate upgrade activities and ensure timely completion of upgrade tasks. + Leading and overseeing the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of Oracle PeopleSoft security products. + Managing and evolving PeopleSoft security infrastructure, ensuring compliance with security, identity, and access management best practices. + Overseeing the end-to-end design, development, testing, and implementation of the PeopleSoft security infrastructure. + Conducting performance tuning, debugging, and optimization of PeopleSoft and Oracle RAC Architecture. + Providing technical leadership in integrating PeopleSoft with UNIX/AIX environments. + Ensuring effective server virtualization, PeopleSoft tuning, and debugging. + Planning and prioritizing work to meet project deadlines. + Collaborating with cross-functional teams and key business stakeholders to understand customizations and their impact on the project timeline. MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Note: Candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered. + Minimum of 10 years of experience working with multiple versions of PeopleSoft and PeopleTools across HCM modules. + Subject Matter Expert (SME) with PeopleSoft and PeopleTools upgrades and patch installations using Change Assistant and PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM). + Extensive experience in PeopleSoft HCM applications (v9.2 PUM 39+ with fluid technology) and PeopleSoft Tools (v8.59+). + Strong experience in administration of middleware products such as Oracle WebLogic, PeopleSoft AppDesigner, and Oracle SQL. + Expertise in PeopleSoft security design, identity and access management solutions. + Proficiency in PeopleSoft debugging, tuning, and optimization. + Experience with Oracle RAC Architecture integration and configuration. + Working knowledge of PeopleSoft on UNIX, preferably AIX. + Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team in enterprise-wide large-scale implementations. DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: + Experience working with New York City Automated Personnel System (NYCAPS). + Experience in enterprise-wide large-scale implementations and matrix environments. + PeopleSoft Upgrade Administration Certification. + Proficiency in CA Tool & PUM, Shell scripting, and SQL scripting.
