Full-Time/Day Shift

$5,000 Sign-on Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment – this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment. 

Performs duties to facilitate the filling and dispensing of unit dose, IV and stock medications as it relates to the automated dispensing machines (ADM) and CII Safe, automation vendors (e.g. BD-Care fusion or equivalent). Ensures proper maintenance, filling and dispensing duties are performed for CII Safe and the ADMs on the nursing units and other ancillary departments in a prompt and accurate manner.

Required qualifications:

H.S. Diploma or GED Upon hire: Oregon Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician Or Upon hire: Oregon Pharmacy Technician License  3 years of Minimum of 3 years (> 6240 clock hours) of pharmacy practice in an integrated health system or sterile compounding experience and PTCB certification  - OR - 4 years (> 8320 hours) experience if technician does not have PTCB certification

Preferred qualifications:

Coursework/Training and Pharmacy technician program Bachelor's Degree     PTCB preferred (may be required where applicable by state) Pharmacy Automation & Technology experience
