Job Description: As a Senior PHP Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our SaaS platform that powers 24/7 monitoring and video streaming for home security systems. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, designers, and product managers, to build robust, scalable solutions. This role requires you to be onsite in our West Midtown office at least 3 days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely the other 2 days.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain PHP-based applications, including both backend and API integrations Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of the development process Work closely with product managers to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in PHP development

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Senior PHP Developer with 5+ years of experience in web development Strong proficiency in PHP and experience with frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party services Familiarity with MySQL, database design, and query optimization Strong understanding of web security best practices Experience with version control systems, particularly Git Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, dog-friendly environment Must be located in Atlanta, Georgia, or willing to relocate

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Google Cloud Familiarity with front-end technologies such as Vue.js or React Experience with video streaming technologies Background in building and scaling SaaS applications Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
