Senior Physical Therapist
**Job Summary:** The Senior Physical Therapist provides evaluation, planning, and implementation of physical therapy services for patients to facilitate the rehabilitation of neuromuscular, musculoskeletal and neurologic impairments; to restore function, and prevent disability following disease, injury or congenital abnormalities. The person in this position shall provide supervision to physical therapy assistants, aides, interns and students. This person shall also provide leadership to the physical therapy staff and assist the physical therapy management-coordinator with physical therapy clinical competencies, program development and daily operations within the Pediatric Rehabilitation Department. **Position Requirements:** **Licensure:** Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist by the Physical Therapy Board of California. Current BLS. **Experience:** 3-5 years experience minimum. Expertise in one or more pediatric specialty areas (e.g., rehab/neurology, burns/wound care, acute care, ICU/ICN, orthopedics) **Skills and Abilities:** Strong interpersonal skills, time management, problem solving and self-initiation skills. Concise and effective communication **Physical Requirements:** Sit: Up to 6 hours/day Stand/Walk: Up to 6 hours Bend/Stoop: Up to 3 hours Reach: Up to 6 hours Rep Use of UE/Grasp: Up to 6 hrs Lift/Push/Pull: 25lbs, over 25# with assistance or equipment This job requires the ability to hear alarms clients and/or instruction.
