The Senior Physician Recruiter-VSP recruits qualified physicians and advance practice providers (APP) for primary care centers and assists in development of strategic recruitment plans. The Senior Physician Recruiter-VSP work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Humana is seeking a recruiter who is innovative, has strong attention to detail, able to work within a team, has a strong work ethic, is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and has a proven track record recruiting physicians and APP’s. This recruiter will be expected to do the following:
Lead high level Physician sourcing strategies using cutting edge techniquesUnderstand what top Physician/APP talent looks like and know how to propel the talent within Care Delivery OrganizationExecute Humana’s Talent Acquisition model while continually implementing best-practicesDevelop and implement recruiting strategies and tactics that are consistent with broader organizational objectivesLeverage prior recruiting experiences and business acumenConsult as a strong influencer to hiring leadersSeek out opportunities to impact strategy; often proposing solutions for recruiting barriers and strategy for new initiativesWork with all members of the HR team as well as key stakeholders within various business areas to align candidate sourcing with targeted positionsPrescreen candidates by reviewing resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirementsSource candidates for select roles with a focus on identifying talent through various digital media, job boards, sourcing channels, conferences and local/national outreach effortsDeep understanding of physician compensation terms and condition and able to negotiate offerDiscuss employment agreements and non-compete to attain timely signingMaintain accurate and well-organized documentation on all candidates and search tools working within the organizations applicant tracking system and CRMManage relationships with third party contingency search firms when neededUse your skills to make an impact
Required Qualifications
3-5 years of full cycle recruitment experience
Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and strong technical ability to learn different systems and databases
Experience sourcing passive candidates
Knowledge of physician recruiting industry resources and tools
Demonstrated ability to create and execute research, sourcing, and mapping strategies
Demonstrated experience presenting information to Leadership
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors Degree
Recruiting experience in the healthcare industry
Workday experience and/or previous experience using formalized applicant tracking systems
