Senior Physicist – CTO team

We are looking for a senior physicist to develop innovative imaging and metrology technologies as part of the chief technology (CTO) team.

Our group:

The CTO group develops solutions enabling us to expand our offering to our customers by utilizing new technologies and algorithms. Our group consists mainly of physicists and algorithm developers, working together to conduct concept and feasibility experiments for innovative approaches to solve problems beyond the current capabilities of Applied Materials SEM and optical microscopes products.

What you'll be doing?

Concept and feasibility tests:  theory development and simulations, design of experiments; run hands-on experiments; perform data analysis; algorithm development; and finally, present recommendation to the managementSupport the transition from a concept to a productConstantly stay in sync with the latest developments in the industry and academy

What you should have?

Physics or Electrical engineering – PhD. or MSc. +  experience in a related industry. Knowledge in optics and/or scanning electron microscopy and/or semiconductorsCapabilities: Both analytical & experimental in physics/engineering. Algorithm and programing capabilitiesGood communication skills in Hebrew and EnglishAbility to work independently as well as within a team
