In this role, you have the opportunity to
being the Physics and System manager (to be based in Shenyang) with responsibility for functional leadership and management of the Physics and System team for CT & PET/CT product lines.
You are responsible for
Drive all elements of the Physics and System Engineering function (composed of Image chain Physics, Algorithm and System) to achieve best in class proficiencyDevelop and execute a strategic plan to obtain breakthrough level improvement in efficiency and effectiveness of Physics and System TeamActively promote the use of structured methodologies (i.e. Agile, Six Sigma, Design for Reliability) to realize the image quality engineering deliverablesSupport development of common, global way of working. Ensure the team has an articulated way of working (i.e. key process steps to complete unit project deliverables with expected quality), with verification points and process and product quality and completion metrics to provide in-process insight and early warning.Collaboratively execute Physics and System development plans, with strong alignment with peer functions (e.g. CIRS SW, Systems, Gantry, DMS and other subsystems), Product-level Core Teams, and other subsystemsPersonnel leadership including skills planning and recruitment, elicitation of employee career aspirations, identification of high potentials, assessment of leadership team capability/potential, assessment and management of team morale, coaching and joint development of career development plans.Ensure project deliverables from image quality Engineering are executed within schedule, cost and quality expectations. Drive to institute project risk management as a key routine activity within the Physics and System Engineering teamEnsure compliance of resource allocation (People, Material, NRE (Non-Recurring Engineering (costs)), Travel etc.) for each project as per Annual Operating Plan (AOP) commitments- Develop the cross-functional plan/strategy and drives its executionPro-actively monitor project progress, anticipating the effect of dependencies on scheduleMake daily execution decisions and drives execution mechanismsIdentify Critical dependencies, risks and contingency planningIdentify problems with ongoing activities through the core team and facilitates the problem solving processResponsible for project reviews and team communicationsDevelop the entrance (Integration Readiness) and exit criteria with the cross-functional teamAdditional duties as assignedYou are a part of

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Master’s degree in computer science/EE/Biomedical Engineering10 or more years of hands-on image quality engineering experience in a product development environment3-4 years of leading a functional team with qualified image quality engineersObject oriented programming development experience, matlab, C++ or C# programming experience on Windows, or Embedded OS (preferably embedded Linux)Familiar with CT image chain components, CT Recon and post processing algorithms. Ability to work within a cross functional organization with good communication skills.Structured problem analysis and solvingMust be open-minded to assure best design is chosenStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills while communicating in both English and ChineseWorking experience in global organization is preferred.In return, we offer you
