Carollo Engineers is an internationally recognized environmental engineering firm that specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities. We are seeking a Senior Pipeline Engineer to help to help with project planning, design and construction for the infrsatructure market in San Diego and Southern California.

Responsibilities Conceptual and preliminary design activities including site visits, overseeing field work, alternatives analysis, and report preparationDesign of water and wastewater infrastructure pipeline projectsPerform hydraulic calculations needed to size and select project facilitiesDevelop plans, specifications, and cost estimates for various infrastructure projectsAssist with coordinating work of other discipline engineers, designers, modelers, technicians, and others assisting with project workReview contractor submittals for conformance with contract plans and specifications and evaluate requests for information as part of engineering services during construction Qualifications Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to apply critical thinking to develop options and recommendations for pipeline projectsAbility to provide constructability review for pipeline design projectsProficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and Powerpoint10-15 years of pipeline experienceLicensed Professional Engineer in Texas Preferred Qualifications 20+ years of experience in pipeline design and constructionProficiency in MicrostationProficiency in ArcMapProficiency in InfoWater Pay Range$150,000 to 200,000 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
