Overview We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Information Security Engineer specializing in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and identity management, with a strong coding background. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing PKI solutions, coupled with proficiency in programming and identity to automate security processes and integrate security into the development lifecycle. How you'll make an impact Design, deploy, and manage PKI infrastructure, including certificate authorities, registration authorities, and key management systems. Develop and maintain PKI environment working with IAM partners to ensuring secure and efficient authentication, authorization, and user management processes. Write, review, and maintain code/scripts for automating PKI processes, ensuring security best practices are followed. Integrate PKI and IAM solutions with existing and new applications, working closely with development and operations teams. Conduct security assessments, audits, and compliance checks related to PKI systems. Respond to and resolve security incidents involving cryptographic systems, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective measures. Stay updated on emerging technologies, threats, and best practices in PKI, IAM, and coding/security automation. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior security engineers and other IT staff. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including security policies, procedures, and guidelines related to PKI and identity management. About You Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in information security, with a focus on PKI and identity management. Strong coding skills in languages such as Python, Java, C#, or similar, with a focus on security automation. Strong understanding of cryptographic principles and algorithms (RSA, ECC, AES, etc.) In-depth knowledge of PKI concepts, including X.509 certificates, SSL/TLS, encryption, and digital signatures. Experience with IAM technologies such as LDAP, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and Kerberos. Proficiency in managing cryptographic key infrastructure and lifecycle. Proficiency in working with PKIaaS models. Familiarity with security standards and regulations such as NIST, FIPS, GDPR, and HIPAA. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, or specific PKI and IAM certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Certified PKI Professional) are highly desirable. Preferred Skills: Experience with cloud-based identity management solutions (e.g., Azure AD, AWS IAM, Google Identity). Hands-on experience with security automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef). Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and tools.
