About the role:
As a Senior Maintenance Planner you will work with the technical team and equipment owners to develop the scheduled maintenance programs for the production facility to improve production while providing a safe operating environment by planning installation and maintenance of machines, tools, equipment and utility systems. The planner pre-evaluates the need for replacement parts and places orders. You will plan for interruptions in work and develop backup plans to minimize the interruptions for the production facility. The planner ensures that all accounting and supply chain procedures are followed concerning performing your tasks. The Maintenance Planner and Maintenance Team Manager will work together with Operations (their customer) to meet present and future goals.
You will report to the Manager of Maintenance and be located at Blairsville, PA and will support the position 100% onsite.
Key Responsibilities:Support the written safety program that facilitates continuous improvement in the severity and frequency of accidents, resulting in no lost-time accidents and ensuring the safety of all employees. Individual must comply with all safety standards or rules set forth by the Company. Includes building safety principles into the maintenance plans along with review, enforcement, and enhancement of worker safety at floor level observations, procedure adherence, and use of Human Performance Tools.
Ensure compliance to all regulatory and company environmental criteria.
Lead the planning process both in future planning and review of completed work.
Plan maintenance work orders, repairs, servicing and efficient functioning of all machinery and equipment in a plant.
Determine the technical documentation to support the crafts. Technical documentation will include drawings (PID, flow charts).
Managing maintenance data collection and information gathering to more effectively provide the planned maintenance service in future using CMMS software.
Prepare Technical Documentation to include drawings (PID, flow charts), specifications, Spare parts list, Critical operations OEM manuals and update the work-order status in CMMS.
Uphold requirements while reaching future goals of Predictive and Preventive Maintenance.
Can work overtime which could include weekends and backshifts.
Back-up to Maintenance supervisory personnel.
Work with union leadership to insure a cooperative environment.
Qualifications:You will have a minimum of an associate’s degree in a related field or required equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience supervising in a union environment
Must be proficient in Microsoft and Computerized Maintenance System, (CMMS).
Work with mathematical and trigonometry.
Read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial and legal documents.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
Interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
You will work within a team environment.
