Senior Planning Engineer - Maintenance Programme & Implementation
Role Introduction

Reports to: Maintenance Programme & Implementation Manager

This role is part of our Engineering Department who are focused on reassurance, keeping our people and our customer’s safe, ensuring that in every aspect of our operation. we have industry leading performance and that our various fleet programmes are delivering to plan, budget and specification

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a compliant, optimised and effective Maintenance Program, in a package pattern that is aligned with the Maintenance philosophy while retaining maximum value in terms of aircraft availability, being cost effective, and accurately and precisely setup within the Maintenance & Engineering (M&E) system.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinating and project-manage amongst various key internal and external stakeholder to ensure business readiness and timely incorporation of the new and revised Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) document including Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) maintenance document to maintain an effective and optimised Aircraft Maintenance Schedule to deliver a safe, complaint and reliable aircraftEnsuring all applicable maintenance requirements are accurately and precisely set up in the Maintenance and Engineering system with the necessary process and procedure in place for on-going amendment and update to safe safeguard continuous complianceLiaising with key stakeholders and implement the structure process including regular review of non-routine findings to verify the effectiveness of the maintenance programmeDelivering an optimised maintenance packaging concept to best fit the operations of the airline to maximize aircraft availability in a cost effective wayParticipating and representing the airline in Industry Steering Committee, Maintenance Working Group, Maintenance Review Board and other related working groups to contribute the development of maintenance programme and voice out the concern of the airlineSupporting process improvement by utilizing digital tools and business solution application such as Robotics (RPA), Cognos, and Microsoft Power platform to enhance the operational efficiencyProactively driving digital transformation initiatives to deliver process and efficiency improvement and desired business outcomesRequirements
Engineering degree or Aircraft Maintenance Licence (or equivalent)Typically 6 years of relevant experience, preferably in aspects of aircraft maintenance programme management or maintenance planning roleExperience in delivering continuous business process improvementAbility to build strong and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders Good knowledge of Cathay Pacific maintenance and engineering systems is preferred
